The digital twin where drone and robotic systems are developed and proven.
For defense and for civil airspace. Prove it in a real place before it operates there.
Get in touchColdrange is a multi-domain digital twin: real places built from measured terrain, buildings and weather. Drones, ground robots, autonomy and the software that plans and commands them are developed and proven inside it, on land, at sea and in the air, among the people and infrastructure around them. The same environment runs a defense scenario against an adversary that adapts, or a delivery route over a city through thousands of scenarios.
Systems are built in hours. Proving they work still takes a real place.
AI now writes the code, drafts the design and iterates in hours. The result still has to be proven on real hardware.
Designated flight areas exist, and getting into one takes an authorization. A test flight there shows what happened on one day, in one wind.
NATO’s own simulation group reports that making simulation systems interoperable and their results credible “currently requires large efforts with regards to time, personnel and budget.”

Develop where you prove.
Pick a real place. Plug in what you are developing, from your own bench: a flight controller, a sensor, a whole system. It meets what it will meet for real, from the wind at height to an adversary that fights back. Vary the scenario, change the settings, and run it again, until you find what holds.
A flight controller on a bench believes it is airborne, flying a mission over a real place.
A real port, built from survey data.
One environment, two application areas.
Civil airspace and city streets.
Delivery drones and ground robots fly and drive their routes through thousands of scenarios in a twin of the place they will operate, and come back with a record of how they behaved and which settings worked best.
Civil
Defense.
Builders prove their systems, and defenders prove their setups, a harbor, a site, a force, against an adversary that adapts. Meet tomorrow’s threats before they arrive.
DefenseSame environment and the same interfaces, whichever side you work on.
Built to be run by agents.
Coldrange is designed to run headless. Scenarios, runs and results go through one open interface, so an agent can build a scenario, connect a system and run it through thousands of scenarios with nobody at the keyboard, and a person can open the 3D view and watch any run as it happens.
Each run is designed to be kept, with the route, the vehicle, the conditions and the outcome.
People stay in the loop: an agent proposes, a named person decides.
Built to keep your code and data in Europe.
Coldrange is a European company, built to keep your code, your city or site data and every run record in Europe: in our environment, in a dedicated one for you, or offline on your own premises where that is required. European models, or your own. Open formats, so the data stays yours and you can take it with you.

- A dedicated one
- Offline, on your premises
Open, so others can build in it.
Open interfaces and published protocols. Your hardware and autonomy run inside the environment on your terms.
It has happened before, one layer down. Many drone makers build on open autopilots like ArduPilot and PX4.

Share how your system is built, its manuals and its protocols, and we map it into the environment.
Build with usTell us what you need to prove.
We are building Coldrange in the open, with partners. If you build drones, ground robots, autonomy, command software or the components inside them, or you are responsible for the places where they operate, write to us.
Coldrange is new. The experience is not. The team has more than a decade of building hardware-in-the-loop systems, software that talks to real hardware from drones to tanks, including projects for NATO and the British military. It also brings decades of international business experience, and a track record of successfully building and scaling ecosystem products.
