The tactical map: friendly and hostile units on real terrain.

The tactical map: friendly and hostile units on real terrain.

Today’s threats are already on the battlefield. Tomorrow’s are coming faster than defenses can be proven.

AI now writes the code, drafts the design and iterates in hours, on both sides of the front. A defense built for one generation of drones meets the next before it is proven.

A range gives you airspace, with nothing on it that fights back.

Adversary

Something shoots back.

An opposing force that searches, tracks and fires, and uses electronic warfare, jamming and GPS denial. Its radars miss a low drone for the reason real ones do: the ground return hides it.

Click a point in a drone’s camera view and the call for fire goes up to its headquarters, which lays every gun under it that can reach.

AI-native

AI on both sides.

You develop with AI. You prove against AI.

Your side: an agent proposes, a named person decides. The other side: AI or a red team, which adapts. Both meet in one environment, built on the world in layers: organizations, devices, communications, civilians.
One environment

Your side

AI agents build your scenarios, connect your hardware and extend Coldrange to fit what you need. People stay in the loop: an agent proposes, a named person decides.

The other side

The adversary is AI, or your own people as a red team. It plays the next threat and adapts to every change you make. With people on that side, you prove the system and the organization that runs it.

The world

Built in layers, like the real one: organizations and their chains of command, devices, communications, civilians.

Who it is for

Builders and defenders. One environment.

Builders

Drone and component makers

Drone and counter-drone systems, aerial to underwater, and the flight controllers, sensors and radios inside them. Run them against a live opponent before you have a permit or a range, and see what your system does when things go wrong.

Autonomy and AI teams

Prove and validate decision-making and multi-vehicle coordination in a real place, against a hostile force, for as many hours as it takes.

Command, control and mission planning

Run your software over a whole unit in a contested scenario, and see where coordination breaks under pressure.

Defenders

A harbor

Where the sensors go, what they miss, and what changes when the threat does.

A site

Approaches and blind spots, against an adversary that adapts to your changes.

A force

A whole unit in a contested scenario, with its chain of command and its communications.

Builders prove their systems, and defenders their setups, against tomorrow’s threat. Both use the same environment and interfaces.

Sovereign

Built for European defense.

European models, or your own, in our environment or a dedicated one, and offline on your own premises where that is required. It is built to keep your code and data in Europe.

  • A dedicated one
  • Offline, on your premises

Meet tomorrow’s threats before they arrive.

Build with us. We are building Coldrange in the open, with partners. If you build drones, autonomy, command software or the components inside them, or defend what they threaten, tell us what you need to prove.

Coldrange is new. The experience is not. The team has more than a decade of building hardware-in-the-loop systems, software that talks to real hardware from drones to tanks, including projects for NATO and the British military. It also brings decades of international business experience, and a track record of successfully building and scaling ecosystem products.
